Discovery Flight

Want to become a pilot?

We are your perfect choice.

To begin, you will meet our instructor and take a quick tour of the facilities. The first part of the lesson involves some basic “ground” training. Here we discuss some of the basic aerodynamics of flight, talk about what the flight will involve and where we will go. You will learn what is expected of you as the student and what you can expect of our instructors. Basic safety procedures will be discussed, followed by a pre-flight inspection of the aircraft.

After completing the basic ground training you will have a chance to fly your very first aircraft. This is a full hands-on experience and you will actually fly the aircraft with the assistance of our instructor. You will learn how to maintain level flight, turn, climb, descend, and other basic maneuvers. The flight will last roughly between 40 and 60 minutes, depending on the number of flights that are scheduled each day.

TransBlue Aviation welcomes everyone to be a part of our success as we continue to grow and set the highest level in safety, professionalism and producing a world-class standard. To get the best preparation for your career, we are definitely your perfect choice!

Discover A New World

TransBlue Aviation offers a wide variety of courses to get you started on your path to becoming a full-fledged pilot, the first of which is our Discovery Flight program.

A discovery flight is your first step into an exciting new lifestyle. However, before taking on the full commitment of becoming a licensed pilot, we here at TransBlue believe it would be best to see if you are up to the challenge. The discovery flight program gives you a no-obligation introduction into flight training, but it is nothing less than your first flight lesson.

Note: Discovery Flight pilots must be at least 12 years old.

Contact TransBlue Aviation if you have questions about any step in the process, please e-mail us or call: +1 (863) 940-9940 for our Florida location!

Once back on the ground, there will be time for any questions that may have come to mind during your flight. In most cases, the first flight will leave you eager to start your training. If you decide to go further in aviation, you may speak with any of our staff to schedule your training at any time.
